What Still Typing is

Still Typing lets you write messages now and have them delivered to the people you choose when the time comes; recording videos and lining up Instagram posts will come later. We check in with you every so often. If you stop answering, we ask the trusted contacts you picked. Nothing is delivered on silence alone.

If you give a message a fixed date instead, it goes out on that date.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. Your account is personal: you sign in with your email, so keep that email account safe.

How a release works

Content is released after the death or incapacity of the user only when at least two trusted contacts confirm it. Inactivity alone never releases anything.

With 3 trusted contacts, 2 of them have to confirm; with 2, both do. After the confirmations there are 7 days in which we keep trying to reach you on every channel. If you answer, nothing is sent and everyone is told it was a false alarm. Each answer is recorded.

What you can't schedule

• Harassment, threats or anything meant to hurt someone.
• Anything illegal.
• Intimate images or private information about other people without their consent.
• Anything sexual involving minors.
• Spam or scams.

You are responsible for what you write and for having the right to send it.

Reports and removal

Anyone who receives a message can report it. Serious reports take the message down while we review it. We may hold, remove or refuse to deliver content that breaks these terms, and close accounts that do it again.

Plans

Free is available today, with the limits shown on our website. Paid plans are not on sale yet; when they are, their price and conditions will be shown before you pay.

Delivered pages

A delivered message opens on a private page. That page stays available for one year from the first time it is opened.

Instagram

Delivery to Instagram is not available yet. When it is, it will need a Business or Creator account, and Instagram decides whether the post goes up. We can't guarantee it. Email delivery never depends on it.

Closing your account

Closing your account from the app is coming. Until then, write to privacy@stilltyping.app from the address you sign in with and we close it by hand within one month. Closing it removes what you scheduled and the details of your people; anything already delivered stays with the people who received it.

Liability

We build Still Typing so that what you schedule goes out when it should and never before. Email providers, networks and other services we rely on can fail, so we can't guarantee that every delivery arrives. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.

Changes
